Betsoft Gaming has introduced its proprietary Shift platform, designed to make the most of HTML5 technology.
Shift - built entirely with HTML5 - is the new framework upon which all Betsoft games will be based.
The platform runs natively on any supporting web browser without the need for third-party plug-ins. Shift uses a new animation engine that runs more efficiently than Flash, improving the user experience for players of Betsoft’s graphically rich games.
Mark McKeown, Betsoft’s vice president of sales and marketing, said: “Our new Shift platform represents the next step in i-gaming evolution, and is a tremendous milestone for the both the company and the industry.
“While HTML5 has been a standard for some time, it is only just now that the technology and hardware have matured enough to allow for the standards of quality and visual excellence for which Betsoft games are known.
