SBTech has successfully completed the compliance process to provide its sportsbook in the Italian regulated market, after certification from the country’s Agency for Customs and Monopolies.
The company’s sportsbook has just launched with its first Italian operator, NetBet.it. SBTech already provides NetBet with software solutions in numerous markets, including the UK, Romania, Malta and Greece, and certification from the ADM means NetBet can build its i-gaming profile in Italy.

The ADM assessed SBTech’s proficiency with Communication Protocol 3.3, controlled by the General Society for Information Technology, the state-owned organisation that administers online financial services. The protocol enables full ownership of a sportsbook offering by the operator, as well as a host of advanced technical features.
