Gala Coral’s online operations recorded net revenue of £76.3m in the 12 weeks to July 2, a rise of 19 per cent year on year.

Profit (EBITDA) from online operations was £21.6m in the period, 26 per cent ahead of last year, while year-to-date EBITDA was £58.7m, up 48 per cent compared with the same point in 2015.

Adjusting for the UK point-of-consumption tax, underlying EBITDA was up 72 per cent.

Net revenue for coral.co.uk was up 26 per cent to £42.3m, comprising sports net revenue of £19.4m (up 37 per cent) and gaming net revenue of £22.9m, a rise of 19 per cent.

Galabingo.com saw net revenue rise by seven per cent to £20.1m, with mobile accounting for 60 per cent of total stakes, while net revenue for galacasino.com climbed eight per cent to £2.8m.

Net revenue at Italy-facing online operation Eurobet.it was £11.1m in the period, up 25 per cent.
