A fantasy sports bill has been proposed for Nevada, it emerged last week.

The two main fantasy sports operators, FanDuel and DraftKings, have combined to formulate a proposed bill to the Nevada Gaming Policy Committee in Las Vegas. The bill would create a new sector of licensee for fantasy sports operating, which would provide pay-to-play and win competitions in the state.

The proposal is an industry response to observations by the State Gaming Control Board, led by the Attorney General that DFS (daily fantasy sports) was a form of sports pool wagering permitted in Nevada as long as it was offered by a licensed operator.
