Online operator 888 has launched a promotional campaign in the US state of Pennsylvania with land-based partner Mount Airy Casino Resort.
Players in Pennsylvania can now register an account and receive offers at the online 888 Casino New Jersey via the Mount Airy website or from a kiosk at the casino in Mount Pocono.
The offers can be redeemed only by players located in the state of New Jersey as online gambling has not been regulated in Pennsylvania, although the state’s house of representatives did recently pass a bill that would legalise both online real-money gaming and daily fantasy sports there.
The bill, HB 2150, is yet to receive senate approval and will need then to be signed into law by state governor prior to coming into force.
The consensus is that this will happen later this year with the online gambling being regulated in Pennsylvania sometime in 2017. Should that happen, 888 and Mount Airy will be well placed to take immediate advantage.
