The licences cover the manufacture and distribution of specialised gaming software, as well as game platform management and hosting facilities.

A number of Romanian and .com operators are now preparing to take Microgaming’s Quickfire platform live in Romania with access to hundreds of games on desktop and mobile.

Loraine Schoevers, director of Prima Networks, said: “Romania will be an important market for us, so we are delighted to have secured the necessary licences to supply content there.

“Prima Networks was established to meet the needs of operators wanting to enter regulated markets such as Romania, and we are committed to ensuring that the software and services we provide satisfy all regulatory requirements.”
