Two of the major Clarion Events gaming trade shows have been nominated across three different categories in the 2016 Association of Exhibition Organisers Excellence Awards, known as "the Oscars" of the show-organising industry.
ICE Totally Gaming is up for awards in two categories, Best Trade Show and Organiser Team of the Year, while EiG - Clarion’s Berlin-based online gaming event - is recognised in the Best Conference category.
The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony, which takes place at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel on June 17.
Jo Mayer, marketing director for Clarion, said: “ICE has enjoyed considerable success in the AEO awards, most recently winning Best Marketing Campaign in 2015.
“It's fantastic for what is gaming’s largest business-to-business event to be nominated in a further two categories this year and for EiG to also be recognised for the work it has undertaken in successfully redefining the conference experience.”
