The extension contract has a three-year term, lasting until April 2019, with an option to extend for one additional year. The extension of the contract follows an initial successful six-year operation which was sealed in 2008 after a dual international tender conducted by both lotteries.

Under the terms of the contract, the company will continue to provide its LOTOS O/S platform, which is connected to its 5,000 proprietary terminals, to the Dutch lotteries.

Nikos Nikolakopoulos, COO of Intralot, said: “We are very pleased to continue our excellent cooperation with the two Dutch lotteries, which are now entering a new era as a new merged entity. Intralot has managed to design and deliver unique solutions for one of the most technologically advanced projects of our sector worldwide.

"We are happy to assist both long-term customers with novel gaming solutions in their combined new operation and we appreciate their trust in our capabilities underscored by this contract renewal.”
