Gaming1 has appointed former Amaya and NYX Gaming executive Paul Caffery as international business development manager.

Caffery has worked in the online gaming industry for the past seven years, most recently as commercial director at Amaya with earlier roles at NYX Gaming, Sportech, the Tote and Stanleybet.
Caffery, whose role will be to help grow Gaming1 in new markets that are either regulating or on the verge of doing so, said he was excited by the opportunity.
“I was particularly impressed with the quality of the platform and the portfolio as a whole,” he said. “I’m looking forward to helping the company continue to achieve excellent growth.”
Sylvain Boniver, CEO of Gaming1, added: “I’m thrilled that Paul has joined. He has excellent experience in business development throughout Europe that will be very useful for us as we continue to enter new markets.
