A survey by Ladbrokes Games has revealed that Monday is now the most popular time for online gaming.
Friday evening between 8pm and 9pm was the most popular time to game online in 2014, found the survey, but now that has shifted to post-6pm on a Monday.
The survey also showed that 13 per cent of people who played online have done so while on a date, and 11 per cent had logged on during a wedding. Another 13 per cent had played during a christening. The most unusual times to play included 35 per cent at work.
