Unibet Group has signed an agreement to acquire the online gambling business of Stan James Group together with full rights and ownership of the brand.
The transaction, which is subject to regulatory approvals, does not include the UK retail business operated under the Stan James brand and is expected to complete in the second half of the third quarter of 2015.
The acquisition price of £19m, payable fully in cash will be adjusted for customer liabilities that Unibet will take over on completion.
Stan James’ online business has around 150 employees based in Gibraltar who will transfer their employment to Unibet.
