The Iipay Nation of Santa Ysabel tribe from the US state of California has published a white paper setting out why it believes it should be allowed to offer internet poker and bingo.

The white paper, which has been released in the build up to next week’s GiGse in San Francisco, outlines why the tribe believes the state is stepping “outside of its legal dominion in an attempt to curtail the tribe’s interactive gaming plans.”

The paper was written by David Vialpando, chairman of the Santa Ysabel Tribal Gaming Commission, and David Chelette, president of Santa Ysabel Interactive.

Both are to speak at GiGse and will be setting out the tribe’s position in the push to legalise online poker in California.
