Microgaming has released its Playboy online slot to its multiplayer portfolio, adding to the live-dealer studio and online slot launched in 2013.

Microgaming has taken its existing single-player Playboy online slot and adapted it to a five-by-three reel, 20-payline multiplayer community slot.

James Ford, product manager for Microgaming's multiplayer games, said: “Playboy is one of the most recognisable brands in the world – it has 97 per cent unaided global brand awareness.

“So to be able to bring our popular Playboy online slot to [the multiplayer market] is very exciting. It is an ideal acquisition tool and provides our operators with a fantastic opportunity for creative and engaging marketing campaigns.”

To coincide with the game’s launch, Microgaming is running a network promotion in November offering operators’ players the chance to win one of five one-year memberships of the Playboy Club London.
