Online operator 32Red has seen its total gross gaming revenue jump by 19 per cent for the six months to June 30, 2014.

For the first half of the year, total GGR was £22.6m, up 19 per cent year on year compared with £19m for H1 2013.

Net gaming revenue climbed similarly, from £12.7m in 2013 to £15.2m for H1 2014, an increase of 20 per cent.

The Italian business has doubled in size during the period while mobile casino is up 124 per cent and now represents nearly a third of all casino sales; up to 32 per cent from 17 per cent in 2013. 

Boosted by a three-year deal to sponsor Rangers FC, the numbers of new casino players were also up, by 35 per cent to 23,566 from 17,459 for the same period in 2013.
