More details have been confirmed about the rebooted EiG Expo which will be taking place at its new home at the Arena Berlin on October 21-23.

Arena, Berlin

After InterGame broke the news that the event was moving to Berlin from Barcelona, the delegate pricing and other details have now been determined.

The event itself takes place from October 21-23 but Monday, October 20, “Day Zero”, will offer delegates the chance to collect their passes and avoid day-one queues and to take part in a half-day focus on German regulatory change.

The session takes place in the Sofitel Berlin Kurfürstendamm, the EiG headquarters hotel, and is followed by the Kick Off Drinks later in the evening.

In contrast to the pricing structures of previous years, visitors to EiG 2014 will get full access to the exhibition and conferences at a single early bird rate of €499 each. The early bird price is available until August 1, after which it rises to the standard rate of €699, available until October 10. The on-site rate is €749.

Operators are being encouraged to attend the show in numbers, with group packages offering companies up to 10 passes for just €1,500. In addition, and to avoid “pass swapping”, all EiG attendees will be required to carry their photo ID with them and show it along with their passes each time they enter the venue.

The website has been relaunched and includes the new EiG Manifesto, which sets out the core promises and aims for the event.
