A 50-year old winner from Sweden’s Värmland province has scooped a jackpot of €7.4m playing Net Entertainment’s Hall of Gods on Betsson.com.
It is the eighth largest jackpot to be won in 2014 and the second highest ever online jackpot win in Sweden.
Simon Hammon, chief product officer at Net Entertainment, said: “The jackpots just keep falling and it’s an honour to announce that this latest one for Betsson.com is the second largest online Swedish jackpot."
The unnamed winner said: “I was winning smaller amounts here and there, so decided to continue playing. I couldn’t believe it when I saw the €7.4m come rushing into my account.
“Money is not everything, but this is absolutely wonderful for me,” added the Swede. “I haven’t been able to afford a car until now. I’m not going to splash out on a Porsche - it will have to be a Volvo.”
