The firm has also installed David Backshall as sales director, while Michael Lane has become Secure Trading’s first channel and product director.

The newly created positions for Bader and Lane are a result of recent sustained growth. It now has two dedicated routes to market through both direct sales and a channel strategy, providing Secure Trading with greater capacity for further expansion.

Bader joins from Paysafecard where he was also CCO, having previously worked at a number of other companies in the payment sector, including Optimal Payments and Global Collect.

In his new role, Jens has been tasked with expanding both the sales and marketing teams across the firm’s offices in the UK and US.

Backshall, meanwhile, is a former head of sales at Sage Pay and joins from Omnico Group. Lane was previously VP of e-commerce at Skrill.

Bader said: “Secure Trading is ready for expansion across Europe, the USA and beyond. It has solid foundations in place in both the UK and USA, coupled with an incredibly strong technology backbone. The future is very bright.

“We’re now embarking on a recruitment drive, making sure we bring in the right people from across the globe. It’s a very exciting time to be involved with the company.”
