Yggdrasil Gaming, the Malta-based full-service games provider, has launched its first slot, keno and scratchcard games in Asia.
Japanese, Vietnamese and Thai language versions of Yggdrasil flagship Jokerizer and Winterberries video slot games are now live. The company is also preparing localised versions of more titles, which are due to be made available in a variety of Asian languages at the end of March.
Fredrik Elmqvist, chief executive of Yggdrasil, said: “The launch of our first Asian-facing and Asian-language games is a real milestone. The games look great in whatever language they are in but crucially this now means that thousands more players will be able to play our games. The word is spreading fast!
“The decision to localise our content has been driven by customer feedback and a mutual team effort between us and our partners,” he added.
