In January, Borgata and partypoker together generated $3.9m in online gaming revenue, giving the network a leading market share of 41 per cent of New Jersey's i-gaming business.

The Borgata

Borgata accounted for $2.7m in revenue, a 15 per cent increase on the December 2013 figures. Keith Smith, president and CEO of Boyd Gaming, which owns 50 per cent of the Borgata, said: "Our market-leading performance is testament to the quality of our online product and the power of the brand.

“These results also once again demonstrate online gaming's potential to expand our business. About 85 per cent of our online players have not had rated play at Borgata in at least two years, showing there is little overlap with our land-based business.” Tom Ballance, president and COO of Borgata, added: "In January, Borgata launched a mobile gaming app for iPhones and iPads,

and we are scheduled to roll out a version for Android devices shortly.

“As Borgata expands into mobile gaming, we believe we will further grow our business and the overall market," said Ballance.
