Jumio has announced that the Rank Group has signed a deal to use its Netverify solution.

The system will be integrated into the Mecca and Grosvenor Casinos sites and will enable players to be verified quickly without having to email or fax copies of thier ID documents.

Chris McKarkiel, head of digital commercial risk at Rank, said: "Using Netverify will streamline our customer experience whilst helping us comply with our know-your-requirements. Using technology to replace manual processes makes the Mecca and Grosvenor experience quicker and more satisfying for our customers."

Netverify will enable Mecca and Grosvenor Casinos sites to scan their passport or driving licence via their device camera and it will then authenticate the document against a range of security features.
