Ladbrokes is to pass the leadership of its digital marketing to the company’s online gaming partner Playtech.

The move follows the recent departure of chief marketer Stephen Vowles, who left to become marketing director for retailer Argos.

Existing Ladbrokes board member Nick Rust will take over marketing, while research director Adam Collett and retail marketing director Andy May will take over branding activities.
