Malaysian amusement machine manufacturer Dreamgate Corporation has signed a 50/50 joint venture agreement with US firm Sibel for the manufacture and sale of gaming layouts for Asian casino markets.
The deal, which is being conducted through Dreamgate subsidiary RGB, will see the establishment of a new company, RGB Sibel International.
The joint venture will allow Dreamgate to produce gaming and leisure layouts of both synthetic and wool for casinos in Asia in line with its expansion plan.
Dreamgate expects the venture to enable it to capture a bigger size of the gaming market in Asia and contribute positively to its growth.
The company said RGB would invest US$400,000 in the venture, while Sibel would contribute the expertise and equipment required for the business of equal value.
