Overall revenues for Q3 were €148.7m, up two per cent on the same period in 2013.

Within that total, poker revenues were down to €17.5m - a shortfall covered by the rise in sports-betting incomes.

Following a tough few months for bwin.party stocks the share price responded to the results, closing at 88p, a rise of 6.5 per cent for the day.
