Trump Entertainment might continue Trump Plaza’s i-gaming operations after the Atlantic City casino shuts down.

Trump Plaza

In a petition submitted to New Jersey gaming regulators, Trump confirmed that it is considering the legal and economic feasibility of continuing to offer online gaming with partner Betfair after the September 16 closure of Trump Plaza.

At the same time, Trump submitted notification that Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City may file for bankruptcy after breaking loan covenants and so far struggling to find an out-of-court solution.

Trump Plaza’s i-gaming operations took in $4.3m in the first seven months of 2014 while online gaming market leader Borgata won $27.1m.
