IN recent years there has been a noticeable trend for companies to open representative offices in Europe and particularly within the UK.

London has long been recognised as an important world centre for global business and is home to headquarters for some of the world’s most prestigious companies, across a wide range of sectors. In the last few years it has also become home to an exciting community of technology start-ups and has established a counterpart to California’s Silicon Valley in London’s own Silicon Roundabout, based at Old Street in the east of the city.

That being said, it is also acknowledged to be an expensive location to register and run a business. However, due to our location in the far east of Europe and the associated limited accessibility, we have found that it’s not always easy to showcase our offering to the rest of Europe - and indeed the rest of the world - due to our location being considered somewhat “distant”.
