VISITORS to major affiliate events in recent years will have noticed a trend of operator affiliate programmes using not just favourable revenue share rates to lure affiliates – increasingly, the content available with that operator is at the leading edge of the marketing campaign.

Major game launches are now pitched not just at the platforms and operators but also at the downstream audience, at the affiliates and their traffic. A market-leading rev-share is all very well but if you do not have a destination worth visiting, then it counts for nothing.
