Game Master, a chain of FECs with several locations across Indonesia, recently completed the installation of Semnox’s cashless debit card system at 35 of its locations.

With a combination of video games, arcade and redemption, each of the centres has roughly 100 machines, which communicate over a wifi network. Semnox has installed the 3.5ins colour readers in each one.

In addition to this, every location is interconnected with Semnox’s card-roaming feature that allows customers to purchase debit cards from one location and use the balance on the cards at the others. All of this is synchronised, allowing customers’ cards to roam across all locations.

The company said: “For Game Master, it was important that the new system that was brought in not only addresses our concerns operationally but also increases customer satisfaction and convenience.

“With our card-roaming feature, many customers find it convenient to use the same card across multiple locations, which increases customer loyalty and drives in more revenue. We are extremely happy with the way Semnox’s cashless system has helped us and we look forward to working with them.”

Kiran Karanki, director of Semnox Solutions, added: “We are happy to see more operators in this region convert to Semnox and our offering to this industry has helped us grow rapidly in a short space of time.

“Our card-roaming feature has been well accepted in the industry by multi-site operators as it offers customer convenience and the ability to have a single system across all locations for unified reporting. Our cloud-based offering allows operators to remain competitive and scale easily without increasing their total cost of ownership.”
