Alberici launched two new change machines, Leonardo and Nismo, at the ICE Totally Gaming show last week.

The Nismo has a slightly smaller change capacity than the Leonardo. “This is the first time that we are showing these machines on an international stage,” said the company’s marketing manager, Clarissa Masinara.

The machines have a small maintenance door installed that an operator has access to. “This eliminates the operator having to call the company to have someone come out and fix it; they can just do basic maintenance themselves,” she said.

Both machines incorporate the company’s new coin hopper, the Aventador, which employs a cleaning mechanism for coins. “This machine cleans the coins before they go inside the coin receptor so you don’t get any moisture or fluff from people’s pockets in the machine’s workings,” she said.

Alberici also launched a range of parabolic push buttons. “This is the first time that we are presenting them; they are lit beautifully and are great to push,” she said.

Commenting on the importance of the show to the company, she said: “This is one of the largest trade shows in the world so for us it is important to be here.”
