She enters the position recently vacated by Mirry Glavan. While Mirry remains with the group, she is transitioning into a global position focusing on LAI Games.

Luke McKimmie, COO of Helix Leisure, commented: “The challenge for any growing company is maintaining a high level of industry knowledge within the team and furthering positive relations with partners. We have worked alongside Rosa on numerous projects within our industry and a mutual respect quickly developed, which makes this appointment even more important to us.”

Prior to Helix Leisure, Tahmaseb’s history ranged from the opening of the Millennium Dome in the UK, senior management and consultancy positions in the entertainment and attractions industry across Asia and Australia, as well as managing major entertainment events through her own business Zazz Projects.

More recently she has been working in the UAE region for leisure and attractions companies, such as HB Leisure and Mellors Entertainment at Global Village.

“I became familiar with the Embed system on several occasions throughout my career,” said Tahmaseb, “especially when with HB Leisure, and consequently became a great admirer of Embed’s professionalism and quality. Since joining the business here in Dubai, I have been genuinely amazed at how much the company has progressed. When I was a customer, I did not realise just how global Embed and the whole Helix Leisure Group had become.”

She plans to initially become familiar with the principal customers in the EMEA region to ensure that they are given the levels of support they need and then lead the Dubai team to drive the business further forward across the region.
