VLocker, a provider of electronic locker systems, has completed an installation for the US-based Typhoon Texas waterpark.

The lockers allow keyless access in cashless parks using RFID or barcode wristbands. Paypoint kiosks can also be configured to accept other payments methods such as notes and credit cards for customers who do not have RFID or barcode wristbands.

Touchscreen terminals can be used by customers to access the lockers. Typhoon Texas general manager Evan Barnett said that the product is intuitive and efficient, resulting in “little or no down time” for park staff.

“With such a short window in our season to generate revenue, the fact that our staff can put their energy into the park and the people is key for us at Typhoon Texas,” he added.
