Electrocoin is exhibiting its latest range at EAG International next week – Kevin Weir provides his thoughts on the annual London show.

Name: Kevin Weir
Position: Business development director
Company: Electrocoin Sales
I’ve attended 64 London amusements and coin-op shows.
The most amusing memory I have of a previous show is… On my knees outside Earls Court removing the tail from a Playboy Bunny (Stern Pinball) so that she could get into a taxi!
At 09:55 on January 13 you’ll find me… On stand 535 with a can of polish and a duster!
My main objective for EAG International is… Create awareness and sales of our exciting and diverse products as we have something for all sectors of the market.
Visitors should visit our stand 535… Because we genuinely do have something for everyone.
What I enjoy most about the show is… 10am on Tuesday morning, knowing that we are ready to roll.
My favourite place for a drink after the show is… The Cow, Stratford. A good pint of flat bitter with no creamy head!
My favourite place for a meal after the show is… Sadly the Chinese at the Custom House is no longer, so it has to be The Grapes, Narrow Street.
The thing I love about being in London in January is… It’s closer to home than my office.
The think I hate about being in London in January is… What is there to hate?
During EAG International I like to stay… In Stratford, its an easy commute and the selection of restaurants and bars is excellent.
My advice to first-time visitors to EAG International is… Make use of the DLR - Canary Wharf, Greenwich, The City and Stratford Westfield/Olympic park are just a short ride away.
At the end of the show… I feel that the job is half done as we gear up for ICE two weeks later.
