EBITDA at the company reached €26.4m, 71.7 per cent up on the same period last year.

During the first nine months of the year, the group’s revenues increased by 11.8 per cent to €393.9m, due, it said, to the combined effect of an increase in video lottery terminal revenues and December’s introduction of betting on virtual events. EBITDA was up 25.9 per cent to €81.2m.

Revenues from VLTs grew with the expansion of its installed network, which, at the end of September, comprised 4,858 certified machines nationwide.

Revenues from AWPs stabilised but have yet to recover fully from the loss created by the departure of one of its major customers, which became a direct concessionaire in March last year.
