One of Northern Ireland’s leading leisure attractions – the Odyssey Pavilion – is up for sale for £10m.

The pavilion, which features a bowling centre, multiplex cinema and a number of other leisure facilities, is part of the Millennium development in Belfast.

Savills has been appointed to sell the property on behalf of administrator KPMG. The company running Odyssey Bowl, Capital House 11, is currently in administration.

"The Odyssey complex is Belfast's only dedicated large scale leisure facility and the sale of the Pavilion offers a fantastic opportunity to reposition and rejuvenate this already popular leisure destination to suit the changing leisure marketplace,” said Ben Turtle, head of the Belfast office and director of investments at Savills.

The suggestion is that the Pavilion ought to be repositioned as an entertainment destination for families, rather than for young adults.
