Congatec, a manufacturer of embedded computer modules, officially opened a Japanese subsidiary in Tokyo on July 1.

Eric Hsu has been appointed as office manager of Congatec Japan.
Japan is one of Congatec’s most important markets in Asia. Key accounts in the area will now be managed and supported by the company directly. At the same time marketing activities in Japan will be increased to heighten awareness of the Congatec brand.
"With its broad range of COMs (computer-on-modules), Congatec has an excellent chance to expand its already strong position in the Japanese market,” said Hsu. “With a direct presence in combination with a local partner, that goal is now within reach."
The Japanese office is Congatec’s fifth subsidiary worldwide.
