The president of the US trade association AMOA, Andy Shaffer, has said he would like to see the annual Amusement Expo, held for the last few years in Las Vegas, go on the road in the coming years.

He told Re-Play Magazine: “I am really hopeful we go somewhere like Nashville in 2015. I really think moving the show helps with recruiting and it allows owners of smaller routes to attend at least for a day if the show is in their region.

“We have now solidified the base of the show. I think we might be ready to make this kind of move.”

Amusement Expo is jointly owned and run by AMOA, the operators’ association, and AAMA, which represents the manufacturers and distributors.
