EAG International Expo has released details of a highly topical seminar programme for the 2012 show. Featuring presentations from industry leaders, the seminars have been designed to be of relevance and practical benefit to a broad range of attendees.

EAG International Expo chairman Martin Burlin said: "Last year's seminar programme was well attended and we received positive feedback on both the speakers and content. The challenge for 2012 has been to build on this to reflect EAG International's broadening base while continuing to deliver valuable advice and insight.

"We've been extremely fortunate in re-securing the services of leading industry consultants Frank Seninsky and Michael Getlan, whose seminars were very popular last year. Frank and Michael will be joined BACTA chief executive Leslie Macleod-Miller."

Michael Getlan is director of enthusiasm and opportunity for Amusement Consultants, New Roc Entertainment and Smiles Amusement Co. A former board member of IAAPA and third generation operator, Getlan has extensive experience of owning and operating family amusement centres across the US and also provides business development and management services to independent operators. Getlan's first seminar will be Redemption Basics: Getting It Right First Time. Michael will also host the seminar, Working With The Public And Dealing With Difficult Guests.

Frank Seninsky is president of the Alpha-Omega group of companies which includes the consulting agency Amusement Entertainment Management. Seninsky has 41 years' operating experience in the leisure entertainment industry and has assisted in the development of over 250 successful and award-winning entertainment projects around the world. A past president of AMOA, he has more than 1,500 articles and 350 seminars to his credit. Seninsky will speak on 10 Critical Steps In Designing And Laying Out A Game Zone and Successful Strategies In Running Self-Redemption For Street Operators.

Leslie Macleod-Miller joined BACTA as chief executive six years ago and has piloted the association and industry through probably the most difficult period in its long history. With a background in international law and experience gained with major global organisation such as Ladbrookes, Hilton International and Disney, Macleod-Miller is ideally qualified to give an insight into the legislative and regulatory issues facing the industry in the coming months. He will update both BACTA and BALPPA members on the current position and explain how the associations are working closely together to improve the industries future.

With stand reservations and visitor registrations ahead of last year, EAG International Expo 2012 is rapidly gathering momentum. The enhanced seminar programme has been designed to offer attendees insight into this dynamic sector and is free to all attendees.
