Debit card and POS systems provider Embed has rolled out its system throughout the Landmark Group's Fun City operations in the Middle East.
Following a successful trial of Embed systems in two initial Fun City sites in late 2010, the Landmark Group now operates Embed systems in12 Fun City sites throughout the UAE and Qatar.
Seven of the sites were converted over to Embed this August alone and a total of almost 2,000 HD Color-Glo swipe readers using Embed’s wireless-at-the-game technology have been installed throughout Landmark’s operations. All stores in the UAE are connected together through a centralised management service which provides a capability for globalised control of games, prize merchandise and the roaming of customer cards across the store network.
Head of Landmark Leisure, Silvio Liedtke, said: "We have some big development plans ahead for Fun City and we needed a technology partner that would be there to support our growth plans going forward."
