Cory Haynes, a 26-year veteran of the coin-op amusement industry, has announced the launch of Restaurant 180, a full-service restaurant and bar consulting agency, specialising in introducing a new revenue stream for bar and restaurant owners, incorporating video, redemption and arcade gaming into existing venues.
As one of the founding members of Dave and Buster’s, one of the largest and most recognised dining and gaming establishments in the US, Haynes has a wealth of experience in the industry and was more recently president and COO of Sega GameWorks and World Sports Grille brands.
Now branching out on his own, Haynes told InterGame: “I am very excited about Restaurant 180. I truly believe that adding the gaming experience gives guests another reason to visit and stay longer at your venue. Gaming can be fun for all ages and all demographics, from a guys’ night out to enjoyable and memorable family time. I see this as an avenue that can boost food and beverage revenue, as well as create an entirely new revenue stream that has a much lower operating cost than any other offering.
