The German AWP industry is expecting news of fresh legislation to cover the street market by the middle of August.
Official feedback is expected from the EU Commission on the new law. It was due by July 18, but has been delayed until August 18 pending a written submission from Malta, which suggests that the new law will contain strong elements of internet gambling regulation.
The regulation will be an adjustment to the current German gaming machine regulations, not a replacement, but the detail is not yet known.
