Operators across Australia need to be ready for the new Australian banknote series and, at this week’s AGE show in Sydney, JCM Global is leading the way with firmware for its UBA bill validator series that keeps operators and players in the game.

“Our UBA is ready now and is here to stay,” said JCM Asia-Pacific general manager Ian Payne. “To help ensure operators are fully prepared for the new Australian currency, we have developed firmware for the new banknotes and our UBA-10, UBA-14 and UBA-24 series of bill validators are all being updated to accept the $10 and the entire new note series, keeping our customers and their players in the game.”

The new banknote series adds extra layers of security against counterfeiters and other types of cheats and contain new advanced security features.

In addition to its UBA series, JCM will help operators communicate with their customers with its line-up of video displays and content creation by JCMedia. JCM’s PixelPro Display Technology delivers LED video in a wide range of configurations that are as unique as each operator’s individual brand.

PixelPro Flex displays flex convex or concave by 30 degrees. PixelPro Cube is a modular cubic display system that allows operators to create any three-dimensional shape. PixelPro Max panels are ideal for flat screen solutions and have an extra wide viewing angle of 160 degrees, providing exceptional picture quality.

Additionally, JCM is showing products from its award-winning portfolio, including the iVizion bill validator, Gen5 thermal printer and transformative Fuzion technology. When combined with iVizion and Gen5, Fuzion has the potential to transform each slot machine into a multi-line profit centre. Also on display is the ICB Intelligent Cash Box system, field-proven to save operators hundreds of thousands of dollars annually.
