Intralot Inc, a subsidiary of the Intralot Group in the US, has seen its contract with the Vermont Lottery extended for a two-year period, to June 30, 2020.

Vermont extends Intralot lottery deal

The move is consistent with the initial six-year contract and the option of exercising two two-year extensions, covering the period 2010 to 2020. The value of the two-year extension is estimated at approximately $5m.

Vermont Lottery Commission chair Sabina Haskell said: “We are pleased to announce that we extended our contractual agreement with Intralot, and we look forward to continuing our relationship with them.”

John Donahue, CEO of Intralot Inc, added: “I would like to personally thank the Vermont Lottery management team for their trust.

“Our experienced US team will closely co-operate with the Vermont Lottery in the new period to help the lottery meet its goals for responsible growth and greater returns for good causes.”
