According to a research project carried out by YouGov in the UK, a survey shows that 34 per cent of Britons believe that the country will be cashless within the next 20 years.

Cash “on the way out”

Only a quarter of the 2,000 people surveyed said that they use cash every day, but 65 per cent were concerned about fraud over new ways to pay. The industry organisation Payments UK, however, recently concluded that cash is still expected to make up around 21 per cent of payments in 10 years’ time.
