IWG, a supplier of online instant win games, has developed its first physical instant win game with Canadian Lottery, Loto-Québec, which is the first to market the new product.

IWG develops physical game

The new game is based on the supplier’s popular title, Cash Buster.

This launch marks the first time IWG has developed one of its digital titles into a physical form and it plans to roll out products like this to a number of its other partners and develop hits like Mayan Bonus, Cash Buster Towers and Super Gem Blaster into the same format.

Rhydian Fisher, CEO of IWG, said: “This is a truly ground-breaking moment for the instant win sector. Loto–Quebec has used dual launches online and in retail very effectively with us before but never before has a digital game been turned into a physical ticket – it has always been the other way around in the past.

“It just goes to show how successful Cash Buster has been online for Loto-Québec that it has decided to create a physical game for its retail customers.

Clément Aubin, online product team manager at Loto-Québec, said: “Cash Buster has proven to be hugely popular with our online customers and it made perfect sense for us to offer the same game to our retail players.

“We have a great working relationship with IWG and they have been extremely helpful in delivering this unique product for our customers. I’m sure it will be as big a hit for the retail sector as it has been online.”

IWG has provided a full online instant win service to lotteries for over 15 years, producing more than 250 high quality instant win games and now also offers its content to commercial brands including GVC, Rank Group and 888.
