The European Amusement and Gaming Expo opened in the ExCeL Exhibition Centre, London, today with low numbers initially but picking up dramatically by lunchtime.

“It always gets busier on the second day,” said Justin Burke, sales manager for Sega. “We expect to get a lot more interest then.”

The company had its  Daytona USA Championship 3 on show in Europe for the first time, have performed well at IAAPA.

Valley Dynamo exhibited at the UK show for the first time in a number of years with vice president of international sales, Link Pendley, saying Brexit should be a positive thing in the UK with regard to sales. "It'll help loosen up pocket books."

Fujifilm exhibited for the first time at the show today and was impressed by the range of products available to see and test. "It's amazing to have all this kit in one place," said the company's major accounts manager, John Grayston.

The show runs until Thursday, January 19.
