Vukani Gaming, a supplier of LPMs (limited payout machines) in South Africa, has been bought by major operator Tsogo Sun.
It has also bought an operator of bingo terminals, Galaxy Bingo. The deals are worth about R4.65bn (€322m). Both Tsogo and the vendor in the two purchases, Niveus, are subsidiaries of Hosken Consolidation Investment.
The deal puts all of HCI’s gaming business under one roof - Tsogo Sun - and simplifies HCI’s structure. The deal has yet to gain official sanction.
