Greece: VLT roll-out may be delayed

The opening of Greece as a major slot machine market might be delayed.

The European Commission wants Greece to add more consumer protections into regulations before allowing OPAP to roll out 35,000 VLTs, Greek news service Kathimerini reported.

OPAP would roll out 16,500 VLTs on its own while IGT, Scientific Games and Inspired would provide a combined 14,500 machines.
