Two major US installations of debit card systems have been announced by Intercard, both in Palace Entertainment locations at the Malibu Grand Prix, Norcross, Georgia, and Boomers! in Vista, California.

Both are using the latest Intercard i3 Eclipse readers with RFID/NFC/magnetic swipe technology and Intercard’s EMV-certified  iTeller II automated kiosks, which are 100 per cent chip and pin active and can accept Apple Pay, Android Pay and Samsung Pay.

Malibu Grand Prix Norcross is in suburban Atlanta and has a wide range of attractions with arcade, water play area, miniature golf, go-karts, bumper boats, batting cages and a café. Boomers!, close to San Diego, also has an arcade, go-karts, bumper boats, golf, laser tag, batting cages, play area, rides and restaurant.

Ken Withers, director of FECs for Palace, said: “Intercard gives us flexibility with our pricing, allowing for both timed and cash play. This has given us the ability to eliminate physical tokens and tickets, making game play more efficient and hassle free. The new Intercard system has stronger controls, reducing theft and enhancing the guest service experience.”
