Sally Corporation, the dark ride company, announced a new interactive dark ride concept, Five Nights At Freddy’s – The Ride, based on a popular video game.

Like the game, this interactive dark ride centers around a fictional pizza restaurant called “Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza” where malfunctioning animatronic animals roam the restaurant at night. The riders act as night security guards armed with flashlights that scare the robots away.

The ride features multiple endings with some teams surviving until ‘morning’ and others not doing so.

The original game’s creator Scott Cawthon said: "I've always felt that Five Nights at Freddy's would make an amazing dark ride, and Sally is the perfect company to make that happen."

The game was first released in 2014 and quickly became popular on iOS and Android app stores and now has over 10 million paid downloads worldwide.
