Intercard, the cash management solutions company, has appointed Jon Kuhn to the newly created role of director of customer service.

In this position, Kuhn will direct and oversee the organisation’s customer service program. He will also work with Intercard president Scott Sherrod to acquire, train and mentor the company’s technical staff, including employees at the company’s call centres in the US and Asia.

Kuhn will report to Sherrod, and work from the company’s St Louis headquarters in the US.

Sherrod said: “Jon’s empirical knowledge brings the ability to take our service department to the top level. His perspective serves us well as we continue to factor the voice of the customer into our strategic planning and initiatives.”

Kuhn has worked in a variety of IT service management positions, including MiTek Industries, Heritage Home Group, BJC HealthCare and Suddenlink Communications. He has a degree in computer information systems from Missouri State University.
