Another delay is holding up the opening of the giant Mall of Qatar in Doha, where Majed Al Futtaim Entertainment has one of its Magic Planet family entertainment centres.

The US$1.5bn mall is now a year behind schedule and was originally due to open in August, before being delayed until October 29. InterGame understands that the latest estimate for the opening is December 10.
The delay, apparently, is due to the fitting out of the 500 stores that will occupy space in the mall.
The mall is neighbour to the Al Rayyan world cup stadium. It will have 100 food and beverage outlets in addition to the 500 shops and the FEC.
